The Fruitful Life
The seed that fell among the thorns
represents others who hear God’s
word, but all too quickly the message is
crowded out by the worries of this life,
the lure of wealth, and the desire for
other things, so no fruit is produced.—Mark 4:18–19 NLT
As we prepare for Thanksgiving, it is the perfect time
to thank God for giving us a fruitful life. Because of
Him, we can weed out worry and cultivate trust and
contentment. When we make Him the center of our life,
we experience the true essence of living.
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me weed unhealthy
worries and thoughts from my life.
