Guideposts Video: Inspiring True Stories

Hi, it’s Edward from Guideposts, and you may notice I have a different environment behind me, and that’s because I’m back in New York City for a couple of days to take care of some business things.

It’s amazing to see the city again. I’ve never been gone for more than three months, as I have been this time. I consider New York City my home. I’ve lived here for more than half my life, and longer than I’ve ever lived anyplace else.

We’re in phase two of the reopening, and I can feel the spirit of the city awakening, and by spirit, I truly mean that. New York is a city of faith. You probably don’t know that we have more than 2,000 churches within the city limits of New York, and that doesn’t include synagogues and mosques and temples, and the hundreds of 12-step meetings that meet in the basements of those aforementioned houses of worship, so this is really a city of faith.

It’s a city of prayer, and I know that’s what’s going to bring it back more than anything. I’ve missed it. I’m leaving back for the country tomorrow, but I’m going to keep New York City in my prayers, and I hope you will, too. Thank you, I’ll see you next time. God bless.
