A Heavenly Father Who Is Always with Us

God is our Father and he fills many roles–he is the Father to the fatherless, shepherd to His sheep, hope to the hopeless,

Our Heavenly Father will never abandon us.

I love the male mallard duck’s beautiful, iridescent green head. He is very easy to spot from a distance.

You will not find the father duck with his baby chicks—they are with their mother. The National Geographic website states, “They normally lay about a dozen eggs, and the incubation period lasts just under a month. Mallards are territorial during much of this period, but once incubation is well underway, males abandon the nest and join a flock of other males.”

Aren’t you glad our Heavenly Father doesn’t abandon us? He’s always there for us 24/7.

Our Heavenly Father fills many roles. He is the Father to the fatherless, shepherd to His sheep, hope to the hopeless, and the list goes on and on. Our earthly father may fail us, but our Heavenly Father never will!

Do you know your Heavenly Father well enough that you would notice Him from far away?

May we spend Father’s Day thanking not only our earthly father but our Heavenly Father, too!
