Light in Dark Times

A woman in a dark forest

Stand steady, and don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Bring others to Christ. Leave nothing undone that you ought to do.—2 Timothy 4:5 (TLB)

Often, during life's darkest times, we experience a glimpse of the divine that significantly changes our perspective and helps deepen our faith. During the grief of losing a loved one, or facing a serious illness, God will give signs that you are not alone. He will let you know that there is nothing to fear because when everything around you seems dark, it is easiest to see the light.

Today's Prayer:

Lord, may I always have the grace to praise You, in darkness and in light.
